Plant Culture Systems has launched AGGI, an AI-native digital agriculture platform intended to bring those questions into one place. For a grower, the appeal is easy to understand: crop observations and weather conditions matter most when they can be connected to an operational choice.

The free-access approach matters because digital agriculture often asks a farm to commit before it knows exactly which problem the software will solve. A smaller operation may have a capable irrigation controller, a weather station and years of field knowledge, but not the staff time to stitch every signal together. California farm groups and advisers have also been working on technology literacy in the Central Valley, where learning to evaluate a digital tool can be as necessary as learning to operate it. Those workshops focus on helping farmers build practical technology literacy, a useful companion to any platform that promises to make farm decisions more intelligent.
